- 1/2 pound lean ground beef
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 cup spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 24 Kellogg's® Zesta® Original crackers
- 6 slices (3/4 oz. each) American cheese, quartered
Directions
1. In medium skillet cook ground beef and garlic until meat is browned. Drain off fat. Stir in spaghetti sauce, oregano and pepper. Bring to boil. Reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, about 3 minutes or until mixture is thick.
2. On baking sheet arrange crackers. Top each with some beef mixture and cheese piece. Bake at 450°F for 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese melts.
