Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Miller Lite® beer
- 1/2 cup whole milk (or half-and-half for creamier texture)
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika, optional
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- Chopped green onions, for garnish
- Town House® Original FlipSides®, for serving
Directions
1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
2. Whisk in flour and cook, stirring constantly, until flour is lightly toasted and mixture thickens, about 1-2 minutes.
3. Gradually whisk in Miller Lite® beer and milk until completely smooth and mixture thickens slightly, about 2-3 minutes.
4. Stir in Dijon mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt and pepper, until combined.
5. Reduce heat to medium-low and add cheddar, stirring until cheese melts completely and mixture is smooth, about 3-4 minutes.
6. Remove from heat and transfer to a heat-safe serving bowl. Garnish with green onions and serve with Town House® Original FlipSides®.
